This website is for women who would like to get outside and bring their pain-in-the-ass dogs along. ​ I write about dog-friendly adventures and reactive dog training. 

My goals in life are to participate in my favorite sports and spend as much time as possible with my four reactive dogs. I like to run, hike, mountain bike, surf, and ski; sometimes I can do these sports with my dogs, but most of the time I need to leave the dogs in a safe, quiet place.  Finding a way to make everyone happy can be tricky. Since I live in Northern Virginia, I almost always have to travel to get to the mountains or the ocean, and It's hard to find accommodations that are reactive-dog and budget friendly.  To solve this problem, I seek out and write about dog & wallet friendly accommodations, as well as other dog-related outdoor adventures and training. I am also in the process of renovating my first dog-friendly rental property and hope to have it out in the world soon.
