Lucky Dog Lessons
The book that started it all. I read this and thought I was now an expert trainer (only to get Porter and realize I am actually just an idiot). BUT that's how easy-to-follow the steps are: you feel you will be an expert trainer in no time after reading this one!! I found the potty-training section especially helpful.
Before & After Getting Your Puppy
This book gives a lot of practical and concrete training advice. My copy is underlined and chewed on.
The Art of Raising a Puppy
I read this book a long time ago, but it was helpful in learning how to deal with Porter, who is very high strung and head strong.
